About Lexington, Kentucky

Lexington is a grand horse-racing city. The outlying areas used to have more horse farms than there are now, but still, there are many, including one owned by William Shatner. Racing is in the blood here. The Festival of the Bluegrass, Kentucky’s oldest bluegrass festival, happens here in June each year. UK basketball is important here and rivals U of L’s in Louisville. Basketball matters in Kentucky and Lexington is the heart of the bluegrass region. So, basketball doubly matters here. Adolph Rupp is still a deity to many. A day spent at Keeneland race track is a day spent gracefully. Come see.
