"Even though I consider myself a "textile" artist, I just can't give up my love of painting, and have been trying to find a satisfactory way to combine these two disciplines into something that can really hold my attention.  I also have a strong desire to work with non-traditional media, which makes it difficult to categorize most of my work into any one category."
