Strappy - A larger-than-life, highly detailed acrylic painting--down to the stitching and the small, shiny buckle. This one always reminds me of how truly architectural shoes actually are...It's not hard to imagine myself being dwarfed by a large building designed to look just like this. Spider Night-Light - Made from fired clay and glazes, this handsome spider sits on a hollowed out tree. (My apologies-the lighting has washed out some of the color, esp. toward the bottom of tree.) Her legs are twigs, and the designs etched into the clay are inspired by Native American Totem Poles. Also includes some Ancient Eyptian styles of decoration. Tag Underwear - Approximately size 4 pair of women's underwear, constructed entirely of manufactured tags that I've cut out of other articles of my clothing...and sewn back together. Underwear Dress - At full length, this women's dress cotton gown measures about 5.5 feet long. A sort of fabric collage made of men's socks and underwear, it is actually quite warm, but a bit difficult to maneuver around in if you're anything more than bare-foot. Note the pocket on the front. The bottom-most portions have been arranged so that the toes of many pairs of worn out socks create a nice
Plastic Ball Gown - Sewn from square sheets of clear and matte blue plastic, this historically accurate gown has a corset to match (made from 225 mustard packets, with grommets and lacing on both sides). The garment is a women's size 5. Skirt is multi-layered with matte and clear blue plastic. Matching bows on blouse sleeves and front; ruffled details on collar and sleeves.
