Scapa at Bluegrass Reviews

Great school ,poor Mathematics. Mrs. Randolph is superb! And so are many others...Very friendly environ...

SCAPA at Bluegrass is an excellent school. It taught me many things from school studies to discipline to all the areas of art. I just graduated from Scapa at Bluegrass and miss it so much. There is no school that can compare! Go Scapa Penguins! I have learned lots at this school, and if I didn't go here I would have missed out on lots of oppurtunities that other schools would never have given me. From 4th through 8th grade, Scapa at Bluegrass is a great environment. Students who leave Scapa at Bluegrass are young men and women who grow up and are disciplined in all areas of life. There is no place like Scapa! (and its true)

Math is fine in elementary, but I can't agree with the reading. the best thing is the students have different teachers for each course, it's better than most public elementary schools. I like the science teacher though she is strict.

I love SCAPA because I get a hands on learning experience that I wouldn't get at any other school. Also, you get special training in two arts areas so you can discover your talents and use them in the future.

My child loves SCAPA and is thriving artistically and intellectually. The extracurricular activities are outstanding and plentiful. The atmosphere at the school is friendly and energized. It provides a diverse social environment where the students learn to appreciate that all people have something to offer.

Poor leadership. No actual arts training--must get that out of school in the community. High school especially has poor organization and leadership by principal at Middle and High School levels.

This school teaches grades 4th thru 8th with an emphasis on the arts. It is one of the top academically scoring schools in the state and offers students education in voice, dance, drama, art, orchestra, creative writing and band. The school has very high parent involvement and the teachers are dedicated and caring.

SCAPA Bluegrass is a wonderful elementary/middle school, but is not a magnet school. It is a gifted school. Teachers are very dedicated and the Friends of the Arts School, the parent organization, is very active and makes possible the many arts opportunities the students have.
