“While Millcreek supports one of the most socio-economically diverse populations in Lexington, they meet each child's needs successfully. Teachers receive extensive training in new teaching methods, classroom structure/discipline, reading, math, etc. Equal attention is given to students at the both ends of the achievement scale so each child receives challenges appropriate to their current skill level. The building is well kept, staff are professional and friendly, providing a family atmosphere for all students. The Family Resource Center, counselors, and reading/speech tutors are dedicated professionals who work hand-in-hand with homeroom teachers. After 8 years as a Millcreek parent, I have seen tremendous progress in the last 5 years and would not hesitate to recommend this school to every family. Want to get involved?
