Lexington Kentucky Hotels
Lexington is located in the heart of the Bluegrass region and has hosted many of Kentucky's most famous events, including the Kentucky Derby and Kentucky State Fair. Just before the turn of the year, I had the opportunity to visit the Lexington Kentucky Hotel, one of my favorite hotels in Kentucky. If you are not particularly adept at horse racing, you can consider a guided tour, but if you are, you should take a look. The famous Kentucky Derby is held every year on the first Saturday in May, just a few miles south of Lexington, and has become the center of horse breeding in the United States.

The National Historic Landmark offers daily tours of the Living History Museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For those who prefer a quieter experience, there is a family adventure at the Kentucky Museum of Natural History and History, just blocks from the hotel.
Shaker Village also offers covered wagon and river cruises in the months of April to November, as well as covered wagon cruises and boat cruises in the spring and summer months. The opening hours from November 3rd to March 11th are from 9 am to 5 pm, the distillery closes over the holidays. The opening hours of the shops are Monday to Friday from 10 am to 4 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12 pm to 3 pm. The park is closed during these times, except on Mondays and Tuesdays, but open on weekends.
For stays of 1 - 7 nights, the hotel provides fresh towels and bed linen as well as fresh bed linen and toilet paper. If the stay is less than seven days, guests pay for the entire stay, one week each. Upon payment of the weekly rate, the quoted rate will be debited from the credit card that contains the reservation and you will be charged for your stay at check-in. For stays of seven days, payment is required one week in advance; for stays of more than five days and for cancellations of reservations, cancellations must be made within 24 hours of check-in or within 30 days of the date of booking. For stays longer than seven days, all guests are obliged to pay in advance, guests who pay with the advance of the week are not obliged to pay in advance.
Payable on the first day of your stay, no more than $150 (tax per pet) or $50 (tax per month for pets). For stays of more than seven days, a fee will be charged at check-in - if you do not exceed the 50% tax for one month pets. The monthly rate is $1,000 per week, $2,500 per day and $3,400 per night if the 150% tax on pets is not exceeded, or a total of $5,200 per year.
Guests who cancel or fail to show up within 24 hours of their prepayment for a non-refundable deposit of $3 per night will lose their deposit. Guests who cancel within 24 hours of first check-in or no-show will lose all their deposits, including taxes, up to a maximum of $1,000 per month for one month's pets.
It is the policy and practice of Extended Stay America to require all guests in each room to pay a prepayment in the event of a non-refundable deposit or cancellation.
Country Inn & Suites Carlson Lexington has been one of the best hotels in Lexington for years. A cheap hotel does not mean that you have to have a cheap room, but only a good quality hotel with good service and facilities.
